I was born in Bloemfontein, at that time, the Judiciary capitol of the Free State Province; moving to Pretoria shortly after. I started hunting when I was only twelve years old and hunted numerous species that includes Elephant, Buffalo and leopard. After completing High School, I studied Game Ranch Management at the Tshwane University of Technology, completing my studies in only three years. Upon graduating, I worked as a Game Ranch Manager in Mpumalanga. However, my love of hunting and photography compelled me to pursue further education at the National College of Photography, while gaining licensure as a professional hunter, registered tour guide and outfitter. Furthering my qualifications, I then apprenticed in professional hunting in the Northwest Province of South Africa.

We own hunting concession in the Mpumalanga province of South-Africa where most of my hunting is conducted! I started Albert Alberts Safaris to make it possible for you to experience the thrill to hunt in the Dark Continent, with my three star packages hunting in Africa is POSIIBLE!

My most memorable hunt
I sat in front of my computer on a hot February night when my phone rang and it was one of my good friends, David! His voice was rushing as he told me about a good deal he got, hunting PAC (problem animal control) Elephants in Zimbabwe! Four weeks later we loaded our truck off to Zimbabwe to hunt these elusive grey beasts!

We set up camp at one of the remotest parts in Zimbabwe, Kamativi, where we had ten days to hunt two Elephant bulls! Walking ten to fifteen kilometers a day, sleeping in the bush and eating out of tin cans in 35 degrees weather was the best ten days in the hunting field I’ve ever experienced!

That is the main goal of Albert Alberts Safaris; it’s not about the fancy lodge, it’s about enjoying the hunt with good company and taking home memories of a lifetime!
